Automotive Defense Specialists, a team of defense attorneys for SMOG technicians and auto repair shops, have made their ability to provide legal services clear in regards to arguing decisions put forth by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair.
According to the Digital Journal, the defense team argues that “legalese” can put up a barrier to information. They believe that a repair argument from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair can contain uncommon language that makes for a confusing interaction overall.
“Auto shop owners and smog technicians don’t need to learn any fancy legal terms to argue with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. It’s our job as defense attorneys to know the legalistic terms,” said attorney William Ferreira of Automotive Defense Specialists, according to Digital Journal. “We understand the language of this state regulatory agency and know how to respond to help our clients get through it and move on quickly.”
These defense attorneys state that they can help support legal needs of SMOG shop owners, smog-testing technicians and auto repair shop owners.
Legal matters that may arise from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair could pertain to: licensing issues, interim suspension orders and STAR invalidation letters.
